International Weblogger's Day copyright and privacy information

International Weblogger's Day, hereafter InWeDay, is an unofficial celebration involving bloggers around the world annually on June 14th. The concept of InWeDay is uniquely that of the owner, Rio Akasaka, and of no one else, and any spinoff or similar event is merely an unauthorized copy of InWeDay. The first event took place in 2004, at which point no similar institution existed. The name International Weblogger's Day and InWeDay, as well as all symbols, marks, slogans, logos and concepts maintained herein are the sole property of the owner.

The only information retrieved from any visitor occurs when they decide to participate. Their name, email address, weblog, and country are obtained, and all information is provided entirely voluntarily. All information is encrypted and kept secure, and never provided to third-party sources. After each event, all logs are removed permanently.
